During the May color belt testing, several students were awarded with their 1st degree black belts and one 3rd degree black belt. Conratulations to these students for working hard toward this difficult goal.

We had a great time with color belt testing last Thursday. All classes did a great job showing off the skills that they had learned over the past 8 weeks.

The testing was so big that we had parents set up outside!

Color Belt Testing – May 17

Due to the high volume of students testing during each cycle, we are considering a new location for testing.

If the number continues to rise, we will be having the next color belt testing at the James H. Rainwater Conference Center located at: 1 Meeting Place, beside walmart on Norman Drive.

We are very excited about this opportunity. Listen out in class for more information!!

Black Belts – April Testing

Thursday, April 29, 2012 was our last Black Belt testing.

We had over 25 people test during this cycle.

This was one of our biggest Black Belt testings this year!!

Women’s Self Defense Class

We had a very successful Women’s Self Defense class Friday, May 4th at ATA.

The course taught the women about sexual harassment, basic self defense, and self-awareness.

We had over 40 people in attendance. We would like to thank everyone who attended.

We will be having another soon and hope to see you all there!

We will be having our Black Belt boot camp Saturday, April 28th. We will be meeting at 7:30 AM at the Valdosta Middle School Track. All of those who tested on April 19th needs to attend this boot camp.

New Mats at Valdosta Combat Sports

Monday, April 16th we will be getting new mats at Valdosta Combat Sports, our MMA school. The mats will be a great addition to our newly painted walls.

We will be getting black and red mats.

Stop by and try out our new mats. All leadership students can attend MMA classes for free as a part of their membership.

Spring Break Camp a Success

Thank you to all of the parent who brought your kids to our Spring Break camp from April 2nd - April 6th.

All of the kids and instructors had a great time. We look forward to seeing you all at our Summer Camp; where we will have just as much fun.

Summer Camp – coming soon

We will be having a Summer camp beginning May 21st – August 7th.

The camp will be similar to the Spring break camp.

We will be doing Tae Kwon Do, BJJ, and Wrestling.

We will have two snacks a day and lunch will be provided on Fridays.

The camp will be held at 603 B N. Saint Augustine Road.

The cost is $69/week.

If you pay for a month in advance, you will receive 10% off.
