Mini-Tournament A Fun Learning Experience
On Saturday September 25 over 50 students of the Performance Martial Arts Academy’s of Valdosta, Hahira, Moody AFB, and Lake Park attended in the schools semi-annual Mini-Tournament. This was an American Taekwondo Association’s sanctioned Class “C” event.
These tournaments introduces the students to the ATA’s fun and energetic side of taekwondo, building and individual confidence and working towards “Positive Mental Attitude” and “High Goal Setting”, two of our schools main goals.
With competitions in traditional Songahm Forms, Weapons and Sparring (for higher ranking color belts and black belts), students were able to put their training to the test and show just how much they had learned and accomplished. By days end all those that attended from Tiny Tigers to Black Belts, from competitors, judges and spectators alike, the words that rang true most was “Awesome”.
