Color Belt and Black Belt Testing

We will be having a combined Color Belt and Black Belt testing this month. Testing will be held on Thursday, December 13th at the Valdosta Academy.

Testing times are as follows:

Tiny Tigers Basic and Leadership – 5:00 – 5:30

Junior Basic – 5:30 – 6:00

Leadership ages 4-8 – 6:00 – 6:45

Leaderhip ages 9-12 and Junior Black Belts 6:45 – 7:30

Adult Leadership and Adult Black Belts – 7:30 – 8:15

New T-Shirts Available

ATA has released new t-shirts for Color Belts and Black Belts to enjoy. They have a t-shirt design from Orange Belts to Black Belts. The shirts come in Youth sizes and Adult sizes.

The shirts are available to order at Performance Martial Arts. We are now taking orders for the shirts. They are $20. Get yours today!

Black Belt Boot Camp and Testing

Black Belt boot camp will be held on October 6th starting at 8:00 at the Valdosta Academy. Phase one will last from 8:00 am – 9:30 am. Phase two will be held in Hahira at the Honey-Bee Festival. Black Belts will be required to walk in the parade as a part of their boot camp. We will be lining up in Hahira at 11:30 a.m.

Black Belt testing will be held on October 9th at the Valdosta academy. Testing will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. Make sure you register as soon as possible for testing.

Candle Light Ceremony – July 13, 2012

Following the Black Belt testing on July 13, 2012 Performance Martial Arts had its first candle light ceremony in many years. The panel of judges from the Black belt testing took part in the ceremony to celebrate ATA and to award the students with their new ranks.

The students listened to a traditional ATA message, then new black belts were given out, then the judges then lit their candles from Chief Master Stuaffer’s candles, and following that the students lit their candles from the other candles.

Black Belts – April Testing

Thursday, April 29, 2012 was our last Black Belt testing.

We had over 25 people test during this cycle.

This was one of our biggest Black Belt testings this year!!

ATTN: Black Belt and Black Belt Recommended Students

Black Belt boot camp will be this Saturday beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the ATA school in Valdosta. All Black Belt students who are midterming should be there as well as all Belt Belt Recommended students that are testing for their Black Belts.

Black Belt testing will be help Thursday, February 16th at 7:00 P.M. Please come out and support the Black Belt students in their quest to become better and help us encourage our Black Belt Recommended students to do well on their testing.
