After hours upon hours of HARD training every day, morning and evenings, Worlds is finally upon us!! Mr. Church would like to express how proud he is of all the accomplishments and all the dedication our students have shown thus far. Remember when you get to Worlds who we represent. The color belt testing that was held on July 12, 2012 was one of the biggest testings that Performance Martial Arts has hosted in many months. We had over 130 students test for their next rank during this testing.
Mr. Church was very proud of his students. He said that he saw dedication, discipline, and structure in his students. He said that all of the students demonstrated all aspects of a well rounded martial arts student.
It was an honor to have Chief Master Stauffer to help judge this big event.

Mrs. Jennifer Powell Earns 4th Degree Black Belt

Mr. Church is very excited to announce that Mrs. Powell has earned her 4th degree Black Belt. This is a major honor to receive your 4th degree Black Belt from the American Tae Kwon Do Association, which is the largest martial art orginization in America.
Mrs. Powell tested for her 4th degree black belt on October 21st in Orlando, Florida. Mrs. Powell has worked very hard with over 10 years of experience. Her dedication to martial arts excellence has been an inspiration to all three academies.

Scott Stauffer (left) was inducted as a Chief Master in the American Taekwondo Association in a ceremony at the Top 10 World Championships in Little Rock, Ark.
VALDOSTA — Scott Stauffer, formerly of Valdosta, was recently inducted as a Chief Master into the American Taekwondo Association.
The ceremony occurred at the 2010 World Championships and was made official by ninth degree black belt, Grandmaster Soon Ho Lee.
This is a high level of achievement and reflects Chief Master Stauffer’s dedication to teaching martial arts.
Stauffer taught in the Valdosta area for a total of 25 years before moving to Charleston, S.C. He is currently instructing children and adults in the pursuit of achieving their black belt degrees in taekwondo.
The process of reaching an eighth degree black belt and Chief Master reflects 38 years of commitment and training to the martial arts.
He is the seventh highest ranking individual in ATA.

Mrs. Powell did a great job today with her Jahng Bong or Staff, while she did not place in the top 3 this year, her determination and dedication shows why she has been the American Taekwondo Association (ATA) Weapons World Champion in the past. When asked about today’s turn out, she reminded all that “competing the the Top 10 at Worlds is a Honor in itself”`
