Color Belt and Black Belt Testing
We will be having a combined Color Belt and Black Belt testing this month. Testing will be held on Thursday, December 13th at the Valdosta Academy.
Testing times are as follows:
Tiny Tigers Basic and Leadership – 5:00 – 5:30
Junior Basic – 5:30 – 6:00
Leadership ages 4-8 – 6:00 – 6:45
Leaderhip ages 9-12 and Junior Black Belts 6:45 – 7:30
Adult Leadership and Adult Black Belts – 7:30 – 8:15

Mini-Tournament March 31, 2012
We will be having a mini-tournament on Saturday, March 31, 2012. All students are welcome to compete!! This will be a great tournament to be involved in, especially if it is your first tournament. Please sign up at your academy so that we can have a better count of how many competitors we will be having.
Competitions will begin at:
8:30 AM for adults
9:15 AM for Tiny Tigers (basic)
9:45 AM for Basic
10:15 AM for Leadership (4-8)
11:00 AM for Leadership (9-12)
Prices are:
Forms and sparring – $35
Weapons – $20
Combat Weapons – $20
All Other Events – $20

Class Extensions
Due to the recent growth at our Valdosta Academy, we will be expanding some of our classes for your conveneince. Our Tae Kwon Do and Jiu Jitsu classes will have additional times.*
Our Hahira and Lake Park locations are also getting bigger and bigger every week. Classes are increasing and the work being produced is astounding!!
As we are preparing for the Valdosta Regional Tournament on January 14th, it is important to attend as many classes as possible. All students can attend as many classes per week as they wish coming into the tournament. Mr. Church is very excited about all of the hard work that all three academies are doing. And is looking forward to the tournament.
Tiny Tigers –
There is now a class on Thursday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
Junior Leadership (4-8) –
Wednesday night class is now from 6:00 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
Junior Leadership (9-12) and Adults –
Wednesday night class is now from 6:45 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Jiu Jitsu-
Wednesday night class now begins at 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

We had over 120 students test at the last color belt testing on November 17. Every one from Tiny Tigers to Adults did a great job. We will be giving out results from the testing on Thursday, December 1st.
Our Black Belts will be testing Decemer 15th. They will go through a bootcamp on December 3rd to prepare for this test.

On November 16th the Students of the Lake Park ATA Club of Performance Martial Arts Academy, had their first testing and graduations.? Congratulations to each and every one of them, and a big thanks to all the Instructors and Assistant-instructors that helped them though their journey, from white belts to orange belts.
