Knife Defense at Black Belt Testing
This video below shows Mr. Webb demonstrating spontaneous knife defense with the Black Belts. This was a part of their testing and had to learn how to defend themselves from an oncoming knife attack.
The partipants were: Jennifer Hardy, Simon Davis, Christopher Haworth, Marge Sprott, Beau Griffis, Dante Sacco, Gabriel Dungan, Wyatte Reid, and Kyle Turner.

Mitchell Church, 5th Degree Black Belt and owner of the Performance Martial Arts Academy, accompanied 13 students (Team Performance) to the event sponsored by the American Taekwondo Association and hosted by Grand Master Soon Ho Lee.
In the second and third degree black belt division Jennifer Powell won first place in traditional forms and weapons and a second place in sparring.
Brittany Johnson won 1st place in sparring and came in second in traditional weapons.
Mizanni Matthews won first place in traditional weapons and third place in sparring.
in the 1st degree black belt division, John Smith took fourth place in forms.
Several of “Team Performance” students had success in the color belt division. Glenn Sibley won first place in creative weapons, second place in traditional weapons and third place in traditional forms.
Tori Sibley won first place in traditional weapons.
Jason Elliott won second place in both traditional forms and weapons.
Marge Sprott won third place in sparring.
Charlotte Sprott won second place in traditional forms and weapons and a third place in sparring.
Ryan Spaulding won first place in traditional forms and weapons.
Darren Rackley took fourth place in traditional forms.
Brandy Smith took fourth place in forms.

The Atlanta Super Regionals brought competitors from across the country and Valdosta sent 22 students.? “Our students are very disciplined and represented our community well.”?
